چکیده

Computation-based mathematical models of tissue indentation are capable predicting the distribution forces and mechanical properties soft tissues. This paper presents a three-dimensional model anisotropic developed using bidomain model. The hypothesizes that relative displacement between intra- extracellular spaces triggers force on mechanosensitive proteins in membrane: integrins. Some tissues, such as cardiac muscle, anisotropic, property which arises from fibrous structure tissue. degree anisotropy can be different. Experimental study and numerical simulation of three dimensional two phase impinging jet flow using anisotropic turbulence model

Hydrodynamic of a turbulent impinging jet on a flat plate has been studied experimentally and numerically. Experiments were conducted for the Reynolds number range of 72000 to 102000 and a fixed jet-to-plate dimensionless distance of H/d=3.5. Based on the experimental setup, a multi-phase numerical model was simulated to predict flow properties of impinging jets using two turbulent models. Mesh...

A Bidomain Model for Neural Tissue

Bidomain models have most commonly used to simulate cardiac tissue. They have only infrequently been used to model neural tissue as they are often computationally intensive and other modeling techniques such as the core conductor model are more appropriate for studying phenomena such as propagation in neural systems. A bidomain model of an aplysia abdominal ganglion was created using COMSOL Mul...

Hyperuniversality of a fully anisotropic three-dimensional Ising model.

For the fully anisotropic simple-cubic Ising lattice, the critical finite-size scaling amplitudes of both the spin-spin and energy-energy inverse correlation lengths and the singular part of the reduced free-energy density are calculated by the transfer-matrix method and a finite-size scaling for cyclic L× L ×∞ clusters with L = 3 and 4. Analysis of the data obtained shows that the ratios and t...

A Three- Dimensional Model of the Caspian Sea

Observations of the Caspian Sea during August-September 1995 are used to develop a three-dimensional numerical model to be used in calculating temperature and current. The model has variable grid resolution and horizontal smoothing that filters out small scale vertical motion. Data from the meteorological buoy network on the Caspian Sea are combined with routine observations at first-order syno...
